How to take

3. Naproxeno 275 mg

4. Naproxeno 660 mg

5. Naproxeno + Sumatriptano

Naproxene 500 mg + Sumatrptan 50 mg or 85 mg (Sumaxpro) is suitable for migraine seizures with or without aura in adults.

The recommended dosage is 1 naproxen + Sumatriptan tablet as soon as the symptoms of the migraine crisis arise.

This dose can be repeated after 2 hours if there is no improvement of migraine.

What to do to forget to take?

If you forget to take Naproxen at the right time, you should take it as soon as you remember but if you are near the time of the next dose, you should skip the forgotten dose and wait for the next time to take.

In no case should two dose doses be taken to compensate for the forgotten dose.

Possible side effects

The most common side effects of naproxen are:

  • Nausea, vomiting or poor digestion;
  • Heartburn or abdominal pain;
  • Diarrhea or constipation;
  • Headache, dizziness or tinnitus in the ear;
  • Swelling.

Naproxen can also cause severe allergic reactions or anaphylactic shock, and should immediately go to the emergency room.

Who should not use

Naproxen should not be used by children under 12, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or people who have asthma, rhinitis, nasal or urticaria polyps caused by the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

This medicine should not be used by people with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or drilling, stomach ulcer, or who have severe heart failure or renal failure.
